This was definitely a nice surprise to come back to! Although topping "Air Libre" in the June/July 2007 issue Vogue Paris as my favourite editorial of Daria's is an impossible feat, Lignes et Attitudes comes in a close second. 

This newest editorial of Daria’s in the September 2008 issue of Vogue Paris, by Inez & Vinoodh, is just as stunning. The editorial is a black and white studio editorial with a white canvas backdrop, just the photographer, the model and the interaction between the two. In my opinion the interaction between these two players is what most should be about - much like the conversational dynamic of Richard Avedon’s work that I adore.

Daria is ethereal in this! She manages to look so androgynous and yet you can’t ignore her feminine beauty. This is definitely the best editorial of the year – no exotic locations which turn out to be so tacky or excessive styling. Bravo Emmanuelle Alt and Inez & Vinoodh!
