From The Archives | Outtake Special : David Ferrua

I've posted a bunch of outtakes recently and I have another one today for you readers! This is an outtake from Daria's photoshoot with David Ferrua which I believe was for the February 2007 issue of Fashion magazine ("Daria Reigning Darling" under the Editorials page!). Its a really pretty picture but hasn't Daria changed over the years! This is so different from her tanned skin and golden hair she's sporting today. What do you like best?

Good Friends, Good Hair

I did a bit of random browsing last night and stumbled on hairstylist Harry Josh's website. If you remember Daria has attended his Spring Fling parties a few times and they seem to be good friends - good enough to warrant a spot on Josh's candid page! I've found a great unseen candid from back in 2007.


This candid was probably taken at one of Harry Josh's parties and Daria is pictured with Julia Stegner. 2007 was my favourite 'Daria year' and I love this candid. How is it possible that Julia and Daria still look good making the dumbest faces? Ah, the perks of being a model. Enjoy!

If Daria Were a Bounty Hunter

Got Jesus? One of my favourite and funniest Daria editorials has to be the Dog the Bounty Hunter editorial from Vogue Paris (November 'o7). I've watched the show occasionally and let's just say that Dog and his wife Linda are the definition of white trash (in the nicese possible way).They are straightforward, funny and do what they like, all with please and thank you. Plus doesn't Daria look so badass in her leather jacket? I am forever indebted to Carine Roitfeld for producing such a great editorial.

P.S. Ignore the constantly changing header on the blog... I'm still trying to figure out how I should make the layout and I'm getting quite frustrated. So if you see any changes during the week - now you know why :)

The Carnival Continues

Prior to partying in the Rio festival, Daria spent some time at the Ong exhibit with artist Vik Muniz. The two caught a plane to visit the exhibit, sponsored by Lancome. Daria is known for her charitable work for the brand, and she often pairs with the beauty business to help out in charities or to work with children. She's a model and a humanitarian!

Backstage With Daria in Paris

To combat the virtually non existent Daria news (apart from the rumors in Rio) I've decided to post these gorgeous backstage pictures. Daria is pictured at Stella McCartney in my favourite outfit of the show, in a leopard Lauren Bacall-esque Valentino, and backstage at Sophia Kokosalaki. These photos were all taken backstage at the Fall 2007 shows in Paris.
