H&M Launch Party

Last night in NYC, Daria attended the launch of the H&M by Matthew Williamson summer collection. It only makes sense as she is also the face of the campaign, pictures of which were posted before.

Let's forgive Daria for that sequined disaster of a dress and assume there was some clause in the contract where she had to wear a celestial tshirt to the event ... but even I can admit that she makes H&M look good.

Apart from the outfit Daria looked so cute and serene. And I love how she drinks champagne and lets the other people pose - definitely not a model off duty. You can see more pictures at patrickmcmullan.com, if you have an account, but I've uploaded a lot of pictures into this post.

Candid Shots

Here's a new candid shot of Daria. I don't know the event or place, but Daria is with designer Matthew Williamson so I'm assuming its the launch of the new H&M by Matthew Williamson collection. If anyone has more information please let me know!

And it was also confirmed that Daria is on the cover of the summer 2009 issue of V magazine. She is one of six covers.

In the Swim

Remember that swimsuit extravaganza in V Magazine I posted about back in April? We finally have our first pictures of the editorial, and a preview of one of Daria's shots.

I actually quite like this image compared to others in the preview. Considering its Testino and swimsuits this image is a lot less vulgar than I expected it to be. And much better than Daria and Testino's last attempt!

Model As Muse

Apart from her recent Topshop outing, Daria hasn't been seen at many events lately. Good news though because she is confirmed to be at the Met Costume Institute Gala this may.

"Fellow Lancôme model Arlenis Sosa and Daria Werbowy will both appear as the guests of their makeup brand."

I'm not going to lie - I'm very excited to see what she'll wear!
The gala is set to take place on May 4 2009, in Manhattan. The last time Daria was at the Met Ball was in 2006 when she attened the Anglomania exhibit with kate Moss and Mario Testino.

Free Spirit

The last of the Vogue Paris editorials have been scanned, including the stunning beauty editorial Esprit Libre. The picture I've included in the post is my favourite from this editorial.
