Daria's cover for the Summer 2009 issue of V Magazine ... ugh. After such a promising preview this cover is such a mess. We had so much faith in you Testino! And then you put out a cover this tacky - it just screams Elnett and Rupaul's Drag Race.

H&M Launch Party

Last night in NYC, Daria attended the launch of the H&M by Matthew Williamson summer collection. It only makes sense as she is also the face of the campaign, pictures of which were posted before.

Let's forgive Daria for that sequined disaster of a dress and assume there was some clause in the contract where she had to wear a celestial tshirt to the event ... but even I can admit that she makes H&M look good.

Apart from the outfit Daria looked so cute and serene. And I love how she drinks champagne and lets the other people pose - definitely not a model off duty. You can see more pictures at patrickmcmullan.com, if you have an account, but I've uploaded a lot of pictures into this post.

Candid Shots

Here's a new candid shot of Daria. I don't know the event or place, but Daria is with designer Matthew Williamson so I'm assuming its the launch of the new H&M by Matthew Williamson collection. If anyone has more information please let me know!

And it was also confirmed that Daria is on the cover of the summer 2009 issue of V magazine. She is one of six covers.

In the Swim

Remember that swimsuit extravaganza in V Magazine I posted about back in April? We finally have our first pictures of the editorial, and a preview of one of Daria's shots.

I actually quite like this image compared to others in the preview. Considering its Testino and swimsuits this image is a lot less vulgar than I expected it to be. And much better than Daria and Testino's last attempt!
