Tuesday Tally

This post would most appropriately be titled a "January/February Tally" but for euphonious reasons Tuesday Tally will work. Daria has been hard at work the past few months and these past weeks in particular have yielded more work than the past two years combined! I feel that there should be an award given out for a list like this ...
Phew! Just looking at that gives me anxiety. Did I miss anything? Imagine the flying hours logged into all of that work, the number of productions, photographers, stylists and makeup artists ... Daria's track record remains one of the best in the business and its only February! I can't wait to see what is in store for 2010. Perhaps a reunion with Steven Meisel (although that may be me being too hopeful), another Vogue Paris cover (you know how much Carine loves Daria) and another editorial shot by Inez and Vinoodh (ok, this is inevitable)? What do you see happening this year? Or maybe the better question - what do you want to see happen?

  1. i'll go beyond photographers and say which models i would love to see her work with.

  2. The Award for wasting good talent goes to Balmain. Superb clothes. Stunning model. Weird campaign. Daria looked unwell. I really love the new H&M Denim. She looks like an all American, perky and athletic bombshell. It's just so incredibly apple pie and bright. Why the heck does everything have to be so darn dark n' edgy all the time. Hooray for cliche.

  3. I really like Balmain's fall collection although a lot of people bashed it. Their campaign was just very disappointing but its not as if they had the most mind-blowing ads in the past.

I'd love to see Daria work with Lara and Weber again. W's Summer Camp was fun but too short!

As for photographers more Hedi Slimane, Sorrenti and Javier Vallhonrat (sp?). He's fairly unknown but his editorials are very vivid and interesting.
